I make a fair amount of homemade pizzas on Friday nights. This is the sauce I use. I make a double or triple batch of this and then freeze in pizza size portions.
1 large can(14-15 oz.) Tomato(s), crushed
1 small Onion(s), minced
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Basil, dried
1 tablespoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Saute onions in olive oil.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
