1 3/4 cups Flour, all-purpose
1 cup Malted milk powder
1/4 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened Dutch
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
11 tablespoon Butter, softened
2/3 cup Sugar
2 large Egg(s)
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/4 cup Milk
2 cups Whopper malted milk balls
6 ounce Chocolate, bitter-sweet
Coarsley chop Whoppers and bittersweet chocolate.
Preheat oven to 350°.
In medium bowl sift together flour, malt powder, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Beat together butter and sugar until smooth. About 3 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time beating after each for about 1 minute.
Add vanilla. The mixture may look curdled at this point.
On low, beat in half the dry ingredients to above mixture.
Add milk and then other half of dry ingredients. Mix only until incorporated.
The batter will look more like frosting at this point.
Mix in the chopped Whoppers and chocolate.
Drop 1 rounded tablespoon of dough onto baking sheets covered with parchment paper.
Leave about 2 inches of space between balls.
Bake for 11 – 13 minutes. The cookies will be puffed and set, but slightly soft in the middle.
Let cool for 2 minutes and then remove with spatula.
Makes about 30 cookies.
