Here are several honey mustard dipping sauces that we make. The household favorite is the Outback Sauce.
Sweet Dipping Mustard
1/2 cup Dry mustard
1/2 cup Cider vinegar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg(s), beaten
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
3/4 cup(s) Mayonnaise
dash Salt
Mix mustard with vinegar and refrig over night.
Bring to room temp and cook with beaten egg, sugar, salt and corn starch.
Cook, slowly stirring constantly till boils and thickens.
Cool…….. add mayo…………Refrig.
Easy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
3/4 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Honey
1/8 cup Dijon mustard
Combine all and chill.
McDonald’s Hot Mustard Sauce
3/8 cup Yellow mustard
2 tablespoon(s) Corn syrup, dark
4 teaspoon(s) Ground mustard
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) White vinegar
1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Soy sauce, light
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
Mix all ingredients.
Microwave on high for 35 seconds.
Refrigerate and cover.
Makes 1/2 cup.
Outback Honey Mustard Sauce
1/2 cup Yellow mustard
1/8 cup Honey
1/8 cup Corn syrup, light
1/8 cup Mayonnaise
Combine ingredients and chill for several hours.
