My father owned a few A & W Root Beer stands when we were growing up. What to do with this vast supply of free Root Beer???? Since pork marries great with just about any ingredient…..how can you help but not add Root Beer to “the other white meat”?
4 pound(s) Pork loin, boneless
2 cups Root Beer
1 medium Onion(s), minced
1 Garlic clove(s), minced
SAUCE
1 1/2 cups Root Beer
12 ounce(s) Chili sauce
Add first 4 ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Combine the sauce ingredients and simmer until reduced by half.
When loin is cooked, shred the meat and add some of the juice from the crockpot back into it.
Serve the sauce with the shredded pork.
