1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Brown sugar, dark
1 Egg yolk(s)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
12 ounce Chocolate chips
1/2 cup Pecans, chopped
Pre heat oven to 350º.
In large bowl cream butter, sugar and egg yolk.
Add vanilla and then add flour and salt.
Press into bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot base and smooth with back of spoon. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
